Students in SEATech’s Careers in Media and Entertainment (CME) program recently welcomed Superintendent Dr. Ben Gauyan as a special guest on their student-produced broadcast, The CME Show.

Each episode of The CME Show features a live news desk, local weather updates, engaging interviews and original segments created and produced entirely by students. The program provides hands-on experience in broadcasting, video production and media storytelling.

Dr. Gauyan appeared in two segments during the show. In the first, he challenged students in a fun “Name That Tune” style game by playing guitar riffs and asking them to guess the song titles. Later in the program, he sat down for an interview to discuss his career in education and reflect on his first year serving as superintendent of Walla Walla Public Schools.
