Walla Walla Public Schools officially kicked off its transition to the new Qmlativ (Q) student information system today! As district systems "Go Dark" to prepare for the migration from Skyward to Qmlativ, District Office staff took a moment to celebrate the exciting journey ahead with a colorful Neon Party.
Dressed in their brightest neon attire and enjoying classic '80s music, staff embraced the theme of lighting the way toward a new chapter for Walla Walla Public Schools.
"While there may be a few nerves, we're even more excited about this milestone and everything that's to come," said Director of Fiscal Services Janette Jeffris.
The transition to Qmlativ represents a major investment in modernizing the district's student information system, providing improved tools and a better experience for families, students, and staff. During the migration, Skyward will be unavailable. Families and students will not be able to access Skyward until Walla Walla Public Schools officially launches Qmlativ (Q) on Monday, August 3.
More information, including details about accessing the new system, will be shared with families later this summer. The future is looking bright, and Walla Walla Public Schools is ready to shine!
