Staff meetings are so much better when the icebreaker activity involves a snowman and paper snowballs. On a serious note, CBTECH staff spent several hours together a few weeks ago during our early release professional development training to focus on Social Emotional Learning and Cultural Belonging training so we can better serve our students.

⚙️The SVT VEX Robotics Teams competed this past Saturday in the VEX Last Chance High Stakes Tournament in Asotin, Idaho. With 10 SVT robots competing, our teams competed superbly and proved that a small school with a limited budget is able to out-perform teams that work on their robots year-round with robust resources. Due to the creativity, innovation, and tenacity of our students, SVT was a dominant presence in the competition with each of our teams progressing to the elimination rounds.
