Spokane Valley Tech Our CyberPatriot team had a competition at the EWU Catalyst Building downtown. CyberPatriot, created by the Air & Space Forces Association, is a national program inspiring K-12 students to pursue careers in cybersecurity and STEM fields vital to the nation's future. Currently we are in 5th place in Washington out of 35 teams and 490th in the world out of 2,100 teams. We are still waiting on our test score, so our place may or may not change. Spokane Valley Tech Friendsgiving breakfast this morning in Mrs. Schultz Humanities class (juniors). The students wanted to plan a celebration for each other. Well deserved as they finished their Crucible final projects last week. Some groups made graphic novels, did drawings, or even made computer game concepts. We love seeing the ideas they come up with for final projects as it often involves what they are learning in their CTE classes, like computer science.
