Lyric took the stage in Portland this last weekend as a 2026 Emerging Designers’ Incubator Designer. A FashioNXT program providing early-stage designers with invaluable mentorship from industry experts guiding them step-by-step from initial collection design all the way to sales.

We LOVE seeing our students take advantage of incredible opportunities like **EAA Young Eagles**, which gives young people the chance to experience the excitement of aviation firsthand and FREE 😁.
Paxton said he got to fly about **75% of the time** — how cool is that?! 🙌✈️
These are the kinds of experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and open doors to future careers and possibilities.

Join us for a night of laughs, food, drinks, networking, and community support all for a great cause! All proceeds will go directly to supporting the students and programs at Sno-Isle TECH.

NEWTech Prep
A great moment from ABC Trades Night!
Austin is now working as a laborer with Walker Construction, and Hayden is working as a laborer with Bouton Construction. Seeing students take the skills they developed at NEWTech and move directly into careers in the trades is exactly what career and technical education is all about.
They are gaining experience, building their careers, and creating opportunities for their future.
And in the middle is Chuck, one proud teacher watching his students take the next step.

Tri-Tech Skills Center Pre-Veterinary Technician
This weekend was a busy one! Multiple Pre-Vet students had the opportunity to volunteer at the 3rd Annual Fall Fix Fest. Students asssited in the spay/neuter, vaccination and microchiping of nearly 200 cats and dogs. This low cost clinic benefitted families in the Othello, Moses Lake and Connel regions of Eastern Washington! Students teamed with local veterinarians, technicians, assistants and 4th year veterinary WSU students to learn and grow thier skills. A special thank you to Adams County Pet Rescue, Sagehill Vet, Pawsitive Alliance, Animal Rescue Friends Society, Hills, Columbia Basin SNAP for making this event possible!

Our Aviation Science & Technology students had a great time participating in Girls in Aviation Day, sharing their passion for aviation and encouraging the next generation to explore careers in the skies!
Students hosted a hands-on booth featuring craft airplanes and flight simulators, giving participants the chance to learn, create and experience a little bit of what it’s like to take to the skies!
It was a fun day filled with learning, creativity and inspiration!

A huge thank you to Peggy Wilson and Alli Paul from the Skagit County Search & Rescue K9 Unit, along with K9 Cricket, for visiting NCTA!
Students from Criminal Justice, Pre-Vet Tech, and Fire Science came together to learn about the important work Search & Rescue K9 teams do in our community. Peggy and Alli taught students about the extensive training required for both search dogs and their handlers, how dogs are able to track human odor, and how K9 teams are used during real search and rescue operations. They also showed students the specialized equipment used by K9 teams in the field and explained how it helps during searches.
Students then got to see those skills in action during live demonstrations in both our AM and PM sessions, with Cricket successfully tracking two of our students!
We are grateful to Peggy, Alli, and Cricket for taking the time to share their expertise and give our students such a memorable, hands-on learning experience.

In our Behavioral Health class, we practice the Four Pillars: Know Yourself, Learn the Profession, Practice the Skills, and Serve and Lead.
We learn about the brain and how it influences our mental health, emotions, and behavior. We also explore ways to work through challenges, develop healthy coping skills, and build a more positive outlook.
Our program helps prepare us for future careers in counseling, therapy, psychiatric care, and many other professions where we can make a difference in people’s lives! 🧠💙

Through NEWTech’s work-study program, they spend two days each week working alongside industry professionals at Corwin and the rest of the week continuing their training at NEWTech.
