🌟 NEWTech Pharmacy Tech Students Explore WSU College of Pharmacy! 🌟
Our NEWTech Pharmacy Technician students had an incredible day visiting the Washington State University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Spokane! They delved into the world of pharmacy through hands-on compounding activities, where creativity met science. One student humorously chose a taco flavor for their suspension, while another, inspired by their cat, crafted a milk-flavored concoction. 🐱🌮
Beyond the lab, students toured the vibrant WSU Spokane campus and discovered the many diverse and exciting career paths in pharmacy. From psychiatric medicine to working with the FBI on drug analysis and forensics, students learned that pharmacists can specialize in much more than retail or hospital settings. 💊🧠🕵️♀️
A highlight of the visit was learning about WSU’s commitment to supporting Native American students in health sciences. The Native American Health Sciences program offers dedicated pathways and support to help Indigenous students succeed in healthcare careers. Learn more here: spokane.wsu.edu/native-health
This visit not only broadened our students' perspectives but also inspired them to think bigger about what’s possible in their futures. Thank you to WSU for hosting us!

SEATech Careers in Media & Entertainment and Spectrum continue a strong partnership
SEATech Careers in Media & Entertainment Instructor, Andrew Sayers, extended his thanks to Coaches, Clients, and Families who engaged in a student marketing project, in partnership with Spectrum:
Dear Coaches, Clients, and Families,
On behalf of our class, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for all of your support, time, and energy throughout our Spectrum Commercial Project. This experience was only possible because of your commitment and willingness to collaborate with our students.
To our coaches and clients – thank you for opening your doors, sharing your brand stories, and trusting our students with your message. Your feedback, guidance, and encouragement helped shape their growth and gave them a real-world creative challenge that pushed their skills to new levels.
To our parents and families – we deeply appreciate your behind-the-scenes support. Whether it was transportation, feedback, flexibility, or encouragement, your involvement helped make this opportunity successful and meaningful for our students.
Our students have put in an incredible amount of effort into their projects, and it’s been amazing to watch their ideas develop from concept to completed commercial. We’re proud of every group and the work they’ve produced.
Thank you again for being part of this project and for helping our students grow as creators and collaborators.
Warm regards,
