Priority Registration for the 2025-26 School Year is Currently Open (Priority Dates: February 3 - April 4)
Southeast Area Technical (SEATech) Skills Center is accepting applications for the 2025-26 school year. All programs are open to juniors and seniors: Advanced Manufacturing & Welding Technology, Careers in Education (NEW), Careers in Media & Entertainment, Construction Technology, Criminal Justice, and Health Science Careers. Requests may be submitted through the following link: https://bit.ly/seatech25-26application; through SEATech’s website at https://myseatech.org/enroll; or visit your school’s Counseling Center.
Note - students are not officially enrolled until they receive an acceptance letter from SEATech Skills Center and complete any additional required paperwork. Please check with your home high school about any additional registration processes that may be required. If you have any questions, please call us at 509-526-2000.
✨Our 6th annual Community Day!! We had an opening assembly on the history of SVT's community Day/why we give back to others with some mingle time. Students did a fun ice breaker of a heads or tails game lead by our ASB president, Drew. Thank you to PTO for providing donuts and refreshments!!
✨Fun fact: SVT's Community Day started in 2019 with the students doing 1,500 acts of kindness for World Kindness Day and a few weeks later they wanted to do even more, so it morphed into helping out at places in the community.

Tri-Tech Skills Center Pre-Medical Assisting students had the opportunity this week to work alongside the CBC Medical Assisting students. It was a great chance for our students to practice their skills as well as tour one of the options they have for continuing their education after Tri-Tech. Staff meetings are so much better when the icebreaker activity involves a snowman and paper snowballs. On a serious note, CBTECH staff spent several hours together a few weeks ago during our early release professional development training to focus on Social Emotional Learning and Cultural Belonging training so we can better serve our students.

⚙️The SVT VEX Robotics Teams competed this past Saturday in the VEX Last Chance High Stakes Tournament in Asotin, Idaho. With 10 SVT robots competing, our teams competed superbly and proved that a small school with a limited budget is able to out-perform teams that work on their robots year-round with robust resources. Due to the creativity, innovation, and tenacity of our students, SVT was a dominant presence in the competition with each of our teams progressing to the elimination rounds.
