Spokane Valley Tech 🦃Second Annual Gobble Games was such a fun time. Judges this year: Shakira, Buddy the Elf, Lady Burratonista, and Simon Cowell. The judges look awfully familiar though like some of our teachers, don't you think? Hosts this year: Drew Gobblestein and Cran Berrysauce (Elan). Show runner: Leftover Loncon and her stage crew of turkeys. Seniors took home the Turkey trophy for first place. Very close second: Juniors...you brought a lot of heart, spirit, and competitive edge! Freshman did super well for it being their first year. Sophomores...we liked the Queen nod to your group performance. We might do another post later...there are a lot of great photos. Spokane Valley Tech Our CyberPatriot team had a competition at the EWU Catalyst Building downtown. CyberPatriot, created by the Air & Space Forces Association, is a national program inspiring K-12 students to pursue careers in cybersecurity and STEM fields vital to the nation's future. Currently we are in 5th place in Washington out of 35 teams and 490th in the world out of 2,100 teams. We are still waiting on our test score, so our place may or may not change.
