Our PM Criminal Justice class visited with Sgt. Cohen, CSO Walker and CSO Gerondale of the Mount Vernon Police Department. The students were given a tour of the facility and were able to speak with many different officers and sergeants from MVPD. The students were able to observe actual defensive tactics training and speak with the defensive tactics instructors. They visited with detectives and Detective Sergeant Young who explained the operation of the criminal investigation section.
The NCTA CJ students learned a lot and were very appreciative of the time spent with the officers at the Mount Vernon Police Department.
