Second-year Instructor, Lance Landis shares, "One of the aspects that speak volumes about Construction Technology is the employment of the graduates after they leave the program. Our school conducts a graduate follow-up annually and my students are typically two to three percentage points below the adult unemployment rate. Many students gain employment before they graduate and are highly sought after because of my reputation in the area for producing quality employees. I encourage employers looking to hire to meet with students before spring break to begin the employment process."
The learning culture Lance creates revolves around empowering students to become their own teachers, fostering a sense of responsibility and accountability. The students learn how to become a professional on a job site including carrying themselves with dignity, communicating effectively, and resolving conflict issues such as harassment and inequality. They also learn perseverance, and to not give up when they have a dream.

ANIMATION
Are you an artistic mind fascinated by the art and creativity of animation? Join our Animation program! Students will often work in teams in partnership with our Video Game Design program to complete cross program projects including the Animation & Video Game Design showcase event! Students will learn to create with different art mediums, understand the perspectives of 2D & 3D drawings and animations, build a professional portfolio, and so much more!
In this program students can earn 3 high school credits (Fine Arts & Geometry equivalency credit available) and dual college credit, leading to a jump start on your college career! Learn what it takes to join this profession and network with professionals currently in industry!
Applications will open Nov. 7th at 4 PM on snoisletech.com and our Open House will be held on Nov. 7th from 6-8.

Practical collaboration for the win!
Second year Video game design students from Tri-Tech Skills Center heard about some tech problems in the Early Childhood Education class and jumped in to help solve the problem. They worked together, troubleshooting the audio and video issues to get the tech all working in preparation of preschoolers arriving.
