Yesterday, we had the honor of celebrating our amazing students at our End of Year Celebration — and what a day it was!

Student of the Quarter & Student of the Year – Each program honored students who consistently demonstrated excellence, effort, and a commitment to learning.

Abby is seen here holding the GSL 1st place trophy in policy debate. This is the first time U-High has won the award! Abby was given the distinct privilege of bringing it to U-High but wanted to show it off at SVT first! Awesome job, Abby!!

Congratulations to all of our 2025 Scholarship Recipients. With the help of our sponsors, we were able to award over $31,000 to 32 Tri-Tech students who plan to pursue a career related to their program. Party in the Park! We had to move it to SVT last minute because of the weather, but we still got to do some outdoor activities. Thank you to @swellcoffeelife, Just American Desserts, and Sarah Jeffries (taco bar food). One of the bands there was SVT's very own Parker Dao's. Students and staff all had a great time!

Viva Farms and our NCTA Construction program collaborated so that construction students could make seeding tables for the farm. 👩🌾🥦🥕🌽Viva acquired the materials and students constructed the tables using miters saws, T25 exterior screws, 2” x4” fencing and staples. Students perform it all—measuring, cutting, and assembly. Thank you, Viva Farms, for the opportunity to build.

Criminal Justice Program at the Northwest Career & Technical Academy recently visited with members of the Northwest Cascades Regional SWAT team during one of there training days. Our criminal justice students are appreciative of all the team members for explaining the mission and operation of the SWAT team. The students were also to view and ask questions about some of the gear and equipment the team uses.
The criminal justice program at NCTA is very appreciative of the time and expertise of the members of the Northwest Cascades Regional SWAT team. We especially want to thank Sergeant J. Moses from Skagit County Sheriff's Office for inviting us to visit with the team.
