The primary purpose of Skills Centers is to give students the academic and work skills to successfully enter the job market or advanced education and training. Skills Centers provide cost-effective, quality job training in programs that would be too expensive to offer at every high school.

Since it appears that winter is coming whether we like it or not, we wanted to remind everyone about our winter weather procedures. Tri-Tech follows Kennewick School District delays and cancellations. A 2 hour delay in Kennewick means no AM Tri-Tech or AM Pre-School. A cancellation in Kennewick means no Tri-Tech at all. Since we cover a large geographical area with very different weather depending on where you are, there will be times when our outlying districts will call 2 hour delays but the larger districts will not. Students will be school excused if their district is delayed or cancelled. Most importantly we want parents to know that if you feel it is not safe for your child to come to school, whether on a bus or if they drive, please call our attendance office and let us know to excuse your student (509-222-7307).
