This free program gives incoming NEWTech students a head start before they start their NEWTech Program in fall, helps current students strengthen their skills for industry certification, and—if space is available—lets non-NEWTech students entering grades 9–12 in the fall explore career options through hands-on CTE activities.

NEWTech students are practicing and preparing for their Mock Interview event next week. A key part of the NEWTech experience includes teaching students résumé writing, interviewing, and interpersonal skills. While next week’s event is a mock interview with various employers and community members, some students have impressed companies so much during past events that they were offered jobs.#connectwithnewtech #automotive
