Before the holiday break, PCSC Medical Assistant students had the opportunity to practice essential clinical skills with the help of friends and family. Students worked on taking vital signs—including blood pressure, pulse, respiration—and performing blood draws as they prepare for upcoming clinicals. Thank you to all the families who came out to support our students and helped make the evening such a success!

Program collaboration as our Construction Trades program was assisted in sheathing our house by the Firefighting students. This provides the firefighting students an opportunity to look at building construction which will help them understand structural fire behavior. Many hands made fast work of a big job. Last week ended with a fabulous gingerbread man chase with our Early Childhood Education students and preschoolers. This year our wonderful Digital Arts and Filmmaking students and instructor filmed and edited to create this wonderful memory of a super fun activity. The Fruitland Building gave them miles of hallways to run through! #CTEskillsforreallife

Did you know that we have a brand new program this year Sno-Isle TECH Skills Center !?

Let’s introduce our new MARITIME VESSEL OPERATIONS program!

This program follows U.S. Coast Guard curriculum allowing students to achieve their TWIC Card, MMC Certification, and their STCW-95. Students can go directly into the field after graduation because they will be credentialed and internationally certified after successfully completing the program!

Learn the ins and outs of the vessel, engine room familiarization, personal survival techniques, watch-keeper/navigation training, vessel security, maritime electrical systems, maritime plumbing, firefighting and more!

This program is for incoming seniors who are interested in becoming a mariner or enter the maritime industry! This is a satellite program held at the Port of Everett that requires students to provide their own transportation to and from the Port daily.
