Meridian campus students practiced hoisting tools overhead — including a chainsaw, axe, pike pole, and an uncharged hoseline with nozzle — building critical skills for real-world firefighting scenarios. 💪🔥

Since then, we’ve remodeled and expanded the original building ( Building B ) in 2018, and added Building C in 2023—together, these efforts have given us more than 20,000 new square feet of instructional space. This expansion is now home to our Pre-Vet Tech, Pre-Electrical, Law Enforcement, and Firefighting/EMS programs, serving 303 students in these pathways alone.
Bob shared that he and Karen always hoped the property would go to good use and truly make a difference in the community. We’re proud to honor that vision every day!

Students will be reviewing the handbook in class and signing a Student Handbook Agreement to acknowledge that they have read and agree to its content.
We encourage parents and guardians to take a moment to review the handbook as well, so you are familiar with the guidelines and expectations that support your student’s success at CBTECH.
--------------------------------------------------

During Manufacturing Month we’re highlighting Core Plus Aerospace students, graduates and partners who are helping build the advanced manufacturing industry in Washington state.
What’s your advice to students who want to pursue a career in manufacturing?
“The advice I give students is to try it. There are a lot of opportunities that can open your eyes like the summer Student Development Program hosted by Boeing in Washington or a SkillsUSA Washington competition.”

Celebrating our amazing graduates who are making their mark in the esthetics industry! 💆♀️🌿
Meet Theresa Trotland, who graduated from the WST Esthetics College Program in June 2023 and became licensed the same year. Today, she works at Angeline Spa as both an esthetician and massage therapist. 🌟
Theresa loves every aspect of esthetics, from facials to brows to waxing, but says:
💖 “It’s so gratifying when I hand the mirror to my guest and see how happy they are with the results.”
She shares that the program gave her the confidence to step into her new role fully prepared. Her advice for future students: stay focused, complete every assignment, and enjoy the journey — this program is fun and exciting! 🎓
Fun fact: Theresa was the oldest student in her class — and she proudly achieved her lifelong dream of becoming an esthetician. Proof that it’s never too late to chase your dreams! 🙌✨

Say hello to Elianah Armistead Cuenca, a proud 2021 graduate of the WST Esthetics Program! 💆♀️✨
After completing the College Program, Elianah hit the ground running — becoming licensed the same year and now celebrating 4 years in the industry. Today, she owns her very own solo esthetics studio, Elianah Esthetics LLC in Poulsbo, WA! 🎉🙌
💖 “Helping people feel confident in their own skin is the best part of my career. I especially love working with acne, rosacea, and sensitive skin clients — watching their progress and transformation is so rewarding.”
One thing Elianah says our program helped her with?
👉 “I was nervous about stepping into the industry, but the hands-on experience and education gave me the confidence to build my own business and continue pursuing advanced training.”
Her advice for future esties?
📚 “Never stop learning. Education doesn’t end at graduation — continuing education is what will set you apart and allow you to give the best results for your clients.”
And of course, one of her favorite classroom memories was our Kahoot! competitions — proving that learning can be fun (and a little competitive)! 🎮😂
