Tri-Tech Skills Center - First day of GRITT (girls rock in the trades) Camp hosted by the National Assocation of Women in Construction. Thank you to all of the sponsors and to the amazing trades volunteers ( Columbia Basin Carpenters and Laborers Local 398) who came to support our campers, including several Construction Trades alumni who are now Carpenter's Apprentices after graduating last June. Thanks again to all of our wonderful volunteers, especially our trades people who came out after a long day of work to help our campers.

State SkillsUSA this past weekend: New Market Skills Center students conducted themselves with maturity and professionalism and brought home 10 medals including two gold, allowing those two students to move on to nationals! Also impressive was that we had medalists from six different programs: Culinary, Nurse Assistant, Medical Assistant, Construction, Video Game Programming, and Firefighting (who swept the competition)! Thank you to the team of advisors and to all those who helped make this happen. #CTE #SkillsSUSA
